Advice :-Do not get discouraged when applying and getting rejected. Rejections can be looked at as a redirection. -Take every interview process as a learning experience regardless of the outcome. These experiences can be used to help prepare for future interviews. -Try not to focus/obsess about the outcome of your endeavors, instead try and focus on the process by giving it your all. For example, if one prepares for an interview and does not get the internship but has been obsessing about getting the internship, it becomes harder to bounce back when the internship doesn't get secured. However, if one focuses on the process (i.e. learning the fundamental coding concepts, learning new computing technologies, practicing for interviews) it becomes easier to bounce back when one does not get the internship. This allows one to take the process as a journey, instead of being under pressure to achieve the end goal. -Having side projects are a great way to showcase your skills. If you are not able to secure your internship, doing side projects is a great way to show that you are committed to learning and that you can learn new skills. Also, side projects are a great way to make yourself marketable when applying for roles. -Make use of your connections, because it can be helpful to look for job opportunities from someone who is in the company versus blindly applying.
