Advice :To the Reboot Scholars Class of 2026, my advice is to embrace your curiosity and use it as a guide throughout your journey. Get involved in campus organizations (local SHPE, finance, tech, consulting clubs, etc) and even national ones (SEO, MLT, RTC, etc) —this is where you’ll meet people who share your passions and interests. Apply to all expense paid exploratory programs offered by companies -it’s a free flight, an opportunity to meet very cool people who then become friends and also get insight into an industry/company. Oftentimes these programs help create connections with full time employees which can lead to a mentorship or also internships. Don’t overlook attending conventions/conferences through scholarships, SHPE hosts an awesome convention; It provides a way to meet other driven students, learn, and even secure offers. While school is an academic setting, don’t forget to strike a balance—spend time with friends, explore, and make space for fun activities that recharge you. I think this balance is key to making the most of your college experience, and it was something that I wish I would have realized sooner.
